Itinerary

  • Arrive Bangalore

    Upon arrival at Bangalore meeting and assistance followed by transfer to hotel. Later visit for Bangalore Vidhana Soudha, Nandi Temple, One of Oldest temple, popularly known as the Bull temple, Lal Bagh, Cubbon Park and The Government Museum. Overnight stay at hotel.

    Bangalore Vidhana Soudha: The Vidhana Soudha, located in Bengaluru, Vidhana Soudha is the largest legislature-cum-office building in the country. No other state capital in the country boasts of a comparable structure. Vidhana Soudha, a grand edifice of the Dravidian Style. is built almost entirely with the 'Bangalore Granite' excavated from the environs of Mallasandra and Hessarghatta.

    Nidhi Temple: The Bull temple of Bangalore is dedicated to Nandi Bull, the vahana (vehicle) of Lord Shiva. Situated in Basavanagudi, this temple has been built in the Dravidian style of architecture. This temple counts amongst the oldest temples of the city and draws devotees from all over the country.   • Bangalore – Mysore (140 kms)

    After breakfast checkout and proceed for Mysore. En route visit Srirangapatnam - the 18th century Summer Palace of Tipu Sultan. Arrive and transfer to hotel. Afternoon city sightseeing tour including the Palace of Maharaja of Mysore. Evening visit the Devaraja flower market. Overnight at Mysore.

    Srirangapatnam: Srirangapatnam is about 14 kms from Mysore. While visiting Mysore it would be a good idea to visit Srirangapatnam as well. Srirangapatnam was the capital of the Mysore State under Tipu Sultan, The Daria Daulat Palace, the Palace of Tipu Sultan in Srirangapatnam is a beautiful Palace built mainly of teakwood.

    Srirangapatnam also has the Ranganthittu Bird Sanctuary that attracts hundreds of migratory birds from all over the world. The sanctuary is also home to flying bats and marsh crocodiles. This wonder of nature is an ideal place to unwind and enjoy nature.

    Summer Palace: was the summer residence of Tipu Sultan in Mysore till his death in the year 1799 during the Fourth Anglo Mysore War. Its construction was started by Hyder Ali and completed during the reign of Tipu Sultan in the year 1791.

  • Mysore - Ooty (165 kms)

    After B-fast, C-Out from Mysore Hotel and drive to Ooty The Queen of Hill Stations nestled in the Nilgiri range and popularly known as Ooty. After freshening up at the hotel you visit the beautifully landscaped Botanical Gardens and the scenic Ooty lake where you may enjoy an optional boat ride. Overnight at Ooty.

    Botanical Garden: The Government Botanical Garden is a botanical garden in Udhagamandalam, Tamil Nadu state, India laid out in 1848. The Gardens, divided into several sections, cover an area of around 22 hectares, and lie on the lower slopes of Doddabetta peak.

  • Ooty

    After B-fast, visit the Doddabetta Peak, The Highest Peak in the Nilgiri Mountains and take an excursion to Coonoor to visit the sprawling Tea Gardens. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this picturesque Hill station. Overnight at Ooty.

    Tea Garden: Darjeeling and Assam teas are world-famous, but in India there is a strong contender to them from the Nilgiris in the South. You may be better acquainted with the Nilgiris through its highly-popular hill-station of Ooty, formally, Udhagamandalam.

  • Ooty – Coorg (228 kms)

    After breakfast checkout and drive to Coorg reach and checkin at hotel and later visit for Omkareshwara Temple, Abbi Falls back to hotel and overnight stay at hotel.

    Omkareshwara Temple: Omkareshwara Temple was established in 1820 by Linga Rajendra II The Omkareshwara Temple has a Linga near the door of the entrance. The history of the temple was inscribed by the king on a plate made of copper that is hanging at the frame of the door to the temple entrance.

    Abbi Fall: Coorg's most popular waterfall is a 5 km drive from the main town.

  • Coorg - Kodaikanal (285 kms)

    After B-fast, Proceed to Kodaikanal. Your journey continues from the Blue Hills of the Nilgiris, through Palani Hills, past wooded slopes to Kodaikanal, where on arrival you will Check-Into your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at Kodaikanal.
