01: Arrive Chennai:
Arrive Madras (Known as Chennai) transfer to the hotel.
DAY
02: Chennai / Mahabalipuram:
Leave for Kanchipuram, the capital city of the Pallava dynasty,
known as " GOLDEN CITY" popular for its 1000 temples
in and around the city, proceed to Mahabalipuram, the 6th century
seaport with stone carvings. Overnight at Mahabalipuram.

03: Mahabalipuram /Madurai:
Morning free at beach A.N. leave for Madras Railway station to
connect overnight train to Madurai.

04: Madurai:
Morning arrive at Madurai, transfer to Hotel, A.N. S/S tour. Visit
the Meenakshi Temple, Thirumalai Nayak Palace. O/N at Madurai.
DAY
05: Periyar
Morning leave for Periyar Wild life sanctuary. Evening boating
at Periyar Lake to see the wild life . O/N at Periyar.
DAY
06 : Periyar:
Free at Periyar.. A.N. visit the near by Village and Spice plantations
and get one of those ALL SPICES packetsas souvenirs.

07: Periyar/Kumarakom:
Leave for Kumarakom back water resort. Check in hotel.

08: Kumarakom/ Cochin:
Leave for Cochin. Enroute cruises through the narrow canals of
the famous back waters. On arrival check in hotel. Evening see
" KATHAKALI" the traditional dance drama of Kerala.
DAY
09: Cochin:
S/S tour of Cochin. See Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagouge, St. Francis
Church, Chineese Fishing nets. O/N at Cochin.
DAY
10: Dep Cochin:
Departure transfer to the Airport for Onwards Destination
