Pakistani couple expressed their deepest gratitude to the Indian Government and the whole of the medical staff of a Noida city Hospital, after the successful heart surgery of their four month old toddler. According to the doctors, Rohaan (the infant) had a hole in his heart, his Aorta and Pulmonary Arteries were positioned exactly opposite to the general structure of the human body, and his heart was pumping oxygen less blood, thus his body was turning blue. He was also suffering from continuous bouts of pneumonia.

Despite of the unrest relationship with Pakistan, the couple finally got the medical visa after the personal intervention of the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, after infant’s father, Kamal Siddiq had tweeted Swaraj and Sartaj Aziz, foreign affairs advisor about the delays in acquiring the Indian permit. He with teary eyes, conveyed his heartfelt thanks to the nation and to Sushma Swaraj by saying that “the big heart of Sushma Swaraj is now pumping blood into Rohaan veins”. And also requested to open doors for the other Pakistanis seeking for medical help in India.
