Gili is an archipelago of islands which is situated off the North West coast shore of Lombok. The major ones include Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Gili Meno. Gili’s Turquoise water, white sandy beaches, best of scuba and snorkelling activities are some of the factors increasing the popularity of these islands. Be it families, honeymoon couples or a group of friends interested to party can choose either of these islands and have a ball of a time. Gilis rustic laid back appeal make people visit again and again and stay there for weeks. With no form of motorized vehicles to disturb the peace, Gili is certainly becoming a very popular tourist attraction. The only way to get around is by horse cart, bicycle and walking.

Gili Trawangan is the most visited and evolved of the three islands. Famous for its nightlife, it is commonly referred as ‘Party Island’. Beach side cafes and bars, some of them open till morning are thronged by party animals. Gili T is also quite known for cheap scuba diving and snorkelling with a number of professional dive centres. Gili Meno on the other hand is quiet and a pleasant place. It is ideal for honeymooners who want to escape crowds. Beachside cafes and fish BBQs dominate the place. Adventure enthusiasts cannot miss the diving and snorkelling experience here. Gili Air is a perfect combination of Gili T and Gili Meno. It has chilled out vibes such as night life, full moon parties etc and at the same time a relaxed and laid back atmosphere for people looking to relax.
