Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu

Your trekking tour in Nepal with Tour My India starts from Kathmandu Airport where you will be welcomed by our representative. From the airport, you will be accommodated to your hotel. After freshening up, you will be taken on a city sightseeing tour. On the tour, you will visit the two most famous tourist attractions of Kathmandu, Thamel and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Thamel is a commercial hub that houses bakeries, shops, restaurants and hotels. Whereas, the Kathmandu Durbar Square is an old royal palace which is known for housing shrines, temples, and large courtyards. For overnight stay and dinner, you will be taken back to your hotel.

Day 2: Sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley

In the morning, you will be served with a scrumptious breakfast. Followed by this, be ready to commence a day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley. The tour starts with a pilgrimage to Pashupatinath Temple on the bank of River Bagmati. Thereafter, visit the popular stupa of Boudhanath along with various other Nepali and Tibetan pilgrim sites. Patan would be the last stop of the sightseeing tour where you will get a chance to know about the traditional art of Hindu and Buddhist culture in Nepal. Overnight stay and dinner will be provided at the same hotel.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Lukla to Phakding

The day 3 of this wonderful Nepal tour will start a bit early with a drive to Kathmandu Airport to board a flight to Lukla. Upon arrival at Lukla, you will be served with a delectable breakfast. Followed by this, commence a trek to Phakding through beautiful villages. En route, you will get a chance to witness the Nepal terrace culture. Besides, you can expect to see the surreal views of Kusum Kanguru. After 3-4 hour of walking, you will reach Phakding. Overnight stay and dinner will be provided at the campsite at Phakding.

Day 4: Phakding to Namche Bazaar

Followed by a delicious breakfast, you will commence a challenging 6-7hours trek to Namche Bazaar that passes through the west bank of the River Dudh Kosi and the small villages of Toktok. En route, relish the picture-perfect views of Nepal Himalayas including the Thamserku peak. The trek takes you to the village of Benkar. Above the village, there are cliffs that are worth a visit as they are beautifully adorned with the paintings of Buddhist deities. The trek further leads you to Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo. Further traversing the village of Jorsale and the curving ascent of pine forest, you will reach Namche Bazaar in Solukhumbu district. For overnight stay and dinner, you will be accommodated in a hotel in Namche Bazaar.

Day 5: Namche Bazaar

The day of this wonderful Nepal trekking tour will be free for leisure. After having breakfast, you will be free for your own time. You have the option to either go on a tour to Sherwin Khangba Sherpa Culture Museum or can also hike up to the Hotel Everest View, Kundi Hospital in Khundi Village. Overnight stay and dinner will be provided at the hotel in Namche Bazaar.

Day 6: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

Followed by a scrumptious breakfast in the morning, be ready to commence a 5-6hours trek to Tengboche. The first half of the trek cuts through winding trails that proffers the scenic views of the Mount Everest, Ama Dablam and Thamserku. The second half of the trek would be 2-hour uphill trekking to Tengboche that passes through rhododendron forests where you can expect to spot Musk Deer and Himalayan Tahr. Tengboche is a village which is known for its Buddhist Tengboche Monastery, the viewpoint and Cafe Tengboche. Overnight stay and dinner will be provided at the campsite/hotel in Tengboche.

Day 7: Tengboche to Dingboche

In the morning, after having breakfast, commence the trek to Dingboche. It is a downhill walk through the forest of rhododendron and conifer along with the small village of Deboche from where you can relish the views of Ama Dablam. The trek also passes through the suspension bridge. Thereafter, the trail then ascent to the village of Pangboche. Passing through numerous pastures, you will reach Dingboche.

Day 8: Leisure Day at Dingboche

Day 8 of this enthralling tour will be free for leisure. After breakfast, you will be free for self-time. You can either trek to the remote village of Chhukung and Chhukung Ri or can just relish the sights of Amphu Lapcha, Island Peak, Baruntse Base Camp and the white ice lake of Imja Tsho. Overnight stay and dinner will be provided at the hotel/camp.

Day 9: Dingboche to Lobuche

After having breakfast, be ready to begin a trek to Lobuche. En route, we will halt at the viewpoint where you will get to capture the enticing sights of Cholatse Peak and Tawoche. In the afternoon, we will stop at Dugla for lunch. Thereafter, for an hour, the trek then continues to ascend up the gravely terminal moraine of the Khumbu glacier. It takes you to the memorial monuments of lost sherpas and climbers. Thereafter, the trail then descends towards Lobuche. For the continuous 4-5 hour of walking, you will reach the village of Lobuche. Overnight stay and dinner will be provided at a lodge in Gorak Shep – a quaint settlement at the bottom of Khumbu Icefall. Overnight stay and dinner at Lobuche.

Day 10: Lobuche to Gorak Shep

Post breakfast, start the trek to Gorakshep. This would be a bit challenging trek as it cuts through the steep and rough trails. En route, you will get to catch the sights of Pumori, Nuptse, Kala Patthar, Mount Everest and Khumbu Glacier. By lunchtime, you will be at Gorak Shep. From there, in the afternoon, trek to the base camp. The entire trek would take would take around 5-6 hours of walking. For overnight stay and dinner, you will be accommodated to a camp/hotel.

Day 11: Gorak Shep to Pheriche

The day 11 will start early in the morning with a trek to Kala Patthar – the Black Rock. From the peak, you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the Himalayan peaks which includes Lobuche, Pumori, Nuptse, Everest and Lhotse. Thereafter, head back to Gorak Shep for breakfast and followed by that start a trek to Pheriche. Overnight stay and dinner will be provided at the camp/hotel.

Day 12: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar

In the morning, after having breakfast, you will be asked to be ready with your backpack to commence a trek to Namche Bazaar. It is a 5-hour downhill trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar. Dinner and overnight stay will be provided at Namche Bazaar.

Day 13: Namche Bazaar to Lukla

The day starts with a delectable breakfast, start a 6-hour downhill trek to the Dudh Koshi River. From there, ascend towards Monjo and then further to Benkar, Phakling and Luka. For overnight stay and dinner, you will be accommodated to a lodge/camp at Lukla.

Day 14: Lukla to Kathmandu

After serving you with a delectable breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport through a 40-minute drive to board a flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to a pre-booked hotel.

Day 15: Kathmandu Sightseeing

On the last day of this wonderful Nepal tour, you will have the opportunity to explore the city. You can pay a visit to the beautiful five-storied Nyatapola Temple, Peacock Window in Bhaktapur, Swayambhunath Stupa, which is also known as the monkey temple and Budhanilkantha. Along with that, you can also go for the last minute shopping in Kathmandu. Overnight stay and dinner will be provided at the same hotel.

Day 16: Departure

Now comes the saddest part of this enthralling tour, departure! As usual, have a delicious breakfast in the morning. Followed by this, be ready with your backpacks as later in the morning we will transfer you to the Kathmandu Airport to board your flight back home. Here, you will conclude this beautiful trip with bucket loads of memories which you will cherish for a long time.
