Detail Itinerary

DAY 01: ARRIVAL AT KATHMANDU

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport you will be greeted by our tour representative who will transfer you to your hotel. After resting for a while, you will be taken to Kathmandu Durbar Square where you will witness the beautiful complex of palaces, temples, shrines and courtyards of the 12th and 13th century built by the ancient Nepali kings. Once you are done with witnessing the magnificent Kathmandu Durbar Square, we will take you to Thamel where with dinner we will discuss your itinerary.

DAY 02: SIGHTSEEING IN KATHMANDU VALLEY

Keeping in mind your interests and desires, Day 2 will be for sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley. Taking you on a spiritual tour, we will head to the revered Pashupatinath Temple where Lord Shiva showers his blessings. After treating your ears with the soothing chants at Pashupatinath Temple, we will head to Boudhanath which is the finest and holiest whitewashed stupa that represents the age old Buddhist culture of Nepal. Buddhist pilgrims from across the globe visit Boudhanath to meditate which fills their heart with peace. The sightseeing will end with a visit to Patan city which is an astonishing center of fine art and Buddhist and Hindu culture. Once done with the day sightseeing tour, we will head back to the hotel to spend a peaceful night.

DAY 03: BUS DRIVE TO BESISAHAR & TREK BHULBHULE

This day we will take you to Besisahar which is the starting point of the Annapurna Circuit trail. From Besisahar the trail will drop at the Puwa Kola. From here taking a walk through sub-tropical forests we reach the tiny Gurung village of Khudi. Moving ahead in the journey, we will follow the Marshyangdi valley and indulge in admiring the great views of the Manaslu which is the eight highest mountain in the world and Himalchuli which is the second highest mountain in the Mansiri Himal, part of the Nepalese Himalayas. After hiking for approx 3 hours, we will finally reach Bhulbhule.

DAY 04: TREK JAGAT

Enjoying the scenic beauty at Bhulbhule and passing through a cascading waterfall, we will trek towards Jagat. As we will move ahead we will come across the extensive rice terraces which is the best view one can witness at the Manaslu. Crossing the Sisneri Khol which is at the end of the lovely village Ngadi, we will move further to Bahundanda. As we traverse ahead we will come across amphitheatre shaped rice terraces. Continuing the trek, the climb will next take us to Kaniguan village and from there we will reach Marsyangdi. Crossing the Marsyangdi over the bridge at Syange, the path climbs further and brings us closer to the vertical cliffs. After a trek of almost 6 hours we will finally reach Jagat where we will stay in Tibetan style lodge.

DAY 05: TREK DHARAPANI

This day we will leave for Dharapani. As we head towards Dharapani, meanwhile we will come across places that are not just pleasing to the eyes but also delight your heart. From Ghatte Khola River, we will head towards Chamje crossing the forests and beautiful cascades. Once we reach Chamje, the next we are going to head to the Marsyangdi River and climb a steep stone staircase to the small tea houses of Sattale. After resting for a while with a hot cup of tea, we will continue climbing past fields, bamboo and rhododendron trees and descend again to Tal Besi. Leaving from Tal and successfully completing the 6 hours of trek, we will finally reach Dharapani.

DAY 06: TREK CHAME

Feeling more enthusiastic, Day 6 we will head to Chame. Climbing through forests of pine, oak, and hamlet and crossing the lovely open forest we will reach a teahouse where we can sit and relax and enjoy the last views of Manaslu while having a hot cup of tea. Moving ahead, we will reach Bargarcchap where you can make a visit to the gompa with colorful wall murals and will be rewarded with a close view of Annapurna II. Climbing further we will reach Chame in just less than an hour from Bargarchhap. After trekking for 5 long hours and reaching Chame, we will spend our night in a pleasant lodge.

DAY 07: TREK PISANG

After spending a peaceful night in Chame, we will head for Pisang. Climbing above Chame we will come across the Marsyangdi valley which has many tall waterfalls. Taking up the challenge of 5 hour long pleasant hike and enjoying the views of Annapurna II, we will have our lunch on the road and will arrive Pisang. Here you can explore the village and beautiful chorten.

DAY 08: TREK BRAGHA

Today we will take the highest scenic route from Pisang to Bragha. The trail from Pisang will enter the pine groves and yields giving you the opportunity to enjoy the views of a small turquoise lake of Mring Tso. From here, heading straight we will pass a line of eight chortens and reach Gyaru which is the old village of Annapurna Trail. A walk oif another 2-3 hours will take us to Ngawal which is yet another charming village. We will continue to head towards Bragha via the villages of Julu and Mungi. Finally, after 5 hours of long trek we will reach Bragha which is a medieval Tibetan-style village with about 200 houses which are partially deserted.

DAY 09: TREK MANANG

Get up in the morning, take your belongings as we will head to Manang. Starting the day in Bragha we will walk through open forest along with barley and buckwheat fields. Bragha having the the oldest monastery which is estimated to be 500 years old will let you come across an outstanding collection of statues, thangkas and manuscripts. Once we are done with visiting the monastery, we will make a climb to Manang. Upon reaching Manang we will rest in the lodge or if you wish to have some refreshment then Manang tea houses and bakeries is where you can enjoy a cup of tea with cookies. Also, if you wish to attend a 3 hour long lecture on altitude, then you can make the most by visiting the Himalayan Rescue Association.

DAY 10: TREK YAK KHARKA

Day 10 is not going to be a long day as we will hike to Yak Kharka covering 4 hours. As we trek, we will meet the local traders riding horses and going from Manang to Muktinath. Continuing our way via Tengi and Gunsang we will reach Yak Kharka. Here we will rest in the lodge.

DAY 11: TREK THORUNG PHEDI HIGH CAMP

This day will be even more easier than day 10 as you will take an easy walk of 2-3 hours up to at Thorung Phedi which is a desolate rock-strewn meadow surrounded by vertical cliffs. Overnight will be at Phedi followed by lunch and spend the afternoon with a cup of tea at the Thorung Phedi Basecamp Hotel.

DAY 12: TREK MUKTINATH

This day we will head to Muktinath which is one of the holiest and most famous pilgrimage destinations for both Hindus and Buddhists.  Starting early for a three to four hour walk to the top of Thorung La. Upon reaching you we can see the Kali Gandaki Valley, Mustang and the surrounding peaks. From here trekking for 7 hours, we will enter lower Mustang and the serene temple complex of Muktinath.  Here we will visit a pagoda-style temple which has an image of Lord Vishnu. Also, on visiting the temple of Jwala Mai you will witness the burning jet of natural gas flowing from an opening in a rock. Once you are done with exploring the divine omnipotence, you will rest in Muktinath.

DAY 13: TREK JOMSOM

As we come closer to our Annapurna Circuit trek, Day 13 we will head to Jomsom. While we descend from Muktinath we will come across Kagbeni which is a village in the upper Mustang. After a steep descent, we will reach Kali Gandaki river. Crossing the river canyon we will finally reach Jomsom. Here we will rest and celebrate our last moment of trekking.

DAY 14: FLIGHT TO POKHARA

The Annapurna Circuit Trek concludes with a flight back from to Jomsom to Pokhara. Upon reaching Pokhara, you can enjoy a relaxing day at Phewa Tal and indulge in some adventurous activities including cycling and paragliding.

DAY 15: FLIGHT TO KATHMANDU

After cherishing some last moments, you will be escorted to Kathmandu Airport to catch you flight for Kathmandu.

DAY 16: KATHMANDU

Upon arriving at Kathmandu, we will take you for a day trip where will visit the tourist popular tourist attractions including a splendid five storied Nyatapola Temple, climb the long stairs to the stupa of Swayambhunath, visit the sleeping Vishnu at Budhanilkantha and witness the beautiful wood carvings like the Peacock window in Bhaktapur. Other than this you can indulge in shopping or enjoy coffee at the bakeries of Thamel or the Garden of Dreams.

DAY 17: DEPARTURE FROM KATHMANDU

Coming to an end of the trip, you will be escorted to Tribhuvan International Airport to catch your flight on time for the journey ahead.
