DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT YANGON

After arriving at Yangon International Airport, get in touch with our representative who will help you get transferred to the hotel. Rest and relax for some time. Your sightseeing tour begins in the afternoon. The first place which you will visit is the enormous statue of reclining Buddha at Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda. The statue is almost 65m long and 16m high. After admiring the size and aesthetics of this statue, make your way to Kandawgyi Park, which is also known as Kandawgyi Nature Park. Among the park’s many attractions is the fabulous views it offers of the Shwedagon Pagoda.

Next, head towards the Karaweik Palace, which is one of the most famous landmarks in Myanmar and captivates onlookers with its aesthetics. Click photographs and admire the beauty of this splendid structure. The next stop is Shwedagon Pagoda, which dates back 2,500 years and preserves strands of Buddha’s hair. Besides being dressed with hundreds of gold plates, its stupa is decorated with 4,531 diamonds. This place also offers incredible views of the sunset.

DAY 2: BAGAN SIGHTSEEING TOUR

The day begins with you catching a flight to Bagan, an ancient city in Myanmar. It is places such as these that make Myanmar what it is. It is believed that this city was once home to almost 4,446 temples. Today, however, only 2,230 of those remain. Here, the skyline is dominated with hundreds of spires while the hot air balloons gently hovering them remind you of its popularity as a tourist attraction. After arriving, visit the local market and catch a glimpse of the daily lifestyle of the people.

You will also visit the Shwezigon pagoda, which is one of the oldest and most imposing structures in Bagan. Its gold plated top always evokes awe and admiration. After visiting this place, make your way to the hotel to complete the check-in formalities. Your sightseeing tour continues with visits to the most famous temples in this city like Ananda, Htilominlo, Thatbyinnyu, Dhammayangyi and Sulamani. In the evening, visit the local workshops to observe the artisans at work as they create amazing pieces of lacquerware. DAY 3: INLE LAKE SIGHTSEEING

In the morning, get transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Heho Airport. After arriving, drive towards Inle Lake, one of the most popular and beautiful tourist destinations in Myanmar. In fact, its beauty has led it to be called the “Venice of Asia”, and it certainly lives up to that comparison.

Surrounded by the dense green hills of Shan, the lake is dotted with hundreds of villages inhabited by the hardy Intha people. The lake wears a serene look throughout the year, while the stilt-built houses never fail to amaze the visitor. Apart from the houses, you can watch the floating gardens on which the villagers grow their vegetables. Another attraction here is the unique rowing style of the fishermen and boatmen. Other places which you will visit are Hpaung Daw U pagoda which consists of five images of the Buddha completely covered in gold leaf. The other monastery which you will visit is the Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, which is not just the oldest and largest of its kind in the region, but also houses a diverse collection of Buddha images in Shan, Tibetan, Bagan and Inwa style.

DAY 4: INLE-YANGON

Your day begins with a visit to morning market as well as exploring the areas surrounding Inle Lake. You can observe the traditional lifestyle of the people while getting an idea of the basic tribes inhabiting this region. Next, head towards the western banks of the lake to catch an 8 hour boat ride through small canals to the small village of Indein. The most noticeable part of the landscape here is the hundreds of stupas that date back from 14th to 18th centuries. You can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the village, visit a local school or even head towards the top of the hill to enjoy the spectacular views below. In the late afternoon, get transferred to Heho to catch your flight to Yangon.

DAY 5: DEPARTURE

You can spend your morning at leisure as you will be provided with a car and guide. You can either choose to go shopping or explore some more places in and around the area.
