He enriched his skills by pursuing an IMA certified training on laparoscopic surgery and a Diploma in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery under the mentorship of Dr. C Palanivelu, the pioneer in laparoscopic surgeries in India. His keen interest in laparoscopic surgery made him to undertake a two-year fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery at Global Hospital, Hyderabad. He received a Fellowship of Indian Association of Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (FIAGES) and during this period he published several papers in various acclaimed journals. His strong interest and dedication towards his career encouraged him to attend several conferences and keep abreast with the latest happenings in the field.
