The duration of the hike varies according to the pace of the participants, but it should take travelers roughly 1-1.5 hours each way.The hike commences from the community school, from where travelers need to follow a dirt road till they reach the Kilkorthang village. After crossing a group of village houses to the edge of the valley, hikers need to descend into the valley.
