These elegant cranes make their way from the Tibetan Plateau to Bhutan each year for the purpose of roosting.<\/p>\n<p>Operated by the Royal Society for the Protection of Nature (RSPN), the Black-Necked Crane Information Centre is a must-visit attraction while visiting the Phobjikha Valley. The establishment houses an extensive range of informative displays about the region\u2019s history, valley environment, as well as the Black-necked Cranes. A haven for ornithologists or bird lovers, the center also has a library and an observation room to keep visitors engaged. With high-power telescopes and spotting scopes, it is possible to spot the cranes in their natural habitat.<\/p>\n<p>Besides being a point of interest for travelers, the center is involved in preservation efforts.
