Day 01: Mumbai – Dehradun – Rishikesh (230 kms/6 hrs approx)
Catch a flight for Dehradun at 07:55 hrs from Mumbai via Delhi. Arrive at the Dehradun Airport by 13:55 hrs, you will meet our representative. Later, a drive to Rishikesh will be followed and on arrival, check in at the selected hotel. In the evening, visit the Ganga ghat for aarti ceremony followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Rishikesh – Joshimath (245 kms/8-9 hrs)
After breakfast, you will be driven to Joshimath via Devprayag. En Route, you can visit Dev Prayag where Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers meet. It is from here the holy river Ganges started. On arrival at Joshimath by evening, you can check in at the hotel which will be followed by dinner and overnight stay.
Joshimath: This place that blooms with a religious centre was established by Adi Shankaracharya to which he named as Jyotirmath. It was however later termed as Joshimath, amongst many interesting sites, the temples of Nav Durga and Narsingh are famous. Besides its religious importance, Joshimath is also known for its enthralling and divine beauty.
Day 03: Joshimath – Govindghat (22 kms/1 hrs) – Ghangaria (14 kms/3-4 hrs)
After breakfast, you will be driven to Govindghat. This is the starting point of the trek and from here on, you can gradually feel mounting up along the well-maintained trail to Ghangaria. Upon arrival at Ghangaria, check in at the camp and in the evening, dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay at camp.
Day 04: Ghangaria – Valley of Flowers – Ghangaria (5 kms per way/4-5 hrs)
After breakfast in the camp, you will start your ascend towards the Valley Of Flowers from Ghangaria. After a day filled with mesmerizing sights, you can return back to Ghangaria with heartfelt experience. Dinner and overnight will be followed at the camp. Here you can explore and be amazed sightseeing amazing flowers and dramatic mountains and lush valleys. It consists an impressive array of wildflowers such as Marsh marigold, Geranium, Primula, Geum, Potentilla, Asters, Ranunculus, Lilium, Corydalis, Rhododendrons and many others. The valley also have a large number of medicinal flowers that are of great value. With a span over 2 kms wide and 10 kms long divided by Pushpawati stream that creates several cracks forming other tiny streams, the valley gives an everlasting impression of the onlookers.
Day 05: Ghangaria – Hemkund Sahib – Ghangaria (6 kms one side/ 3-4 hrs)
The next day after breakfast, you can trek to Hemkund Sahib from Ghangaria. Here, you can have a holistic experience and witness the grand Gurudwara (the highest Gurudwara in the world). Later, you can return to Ghangaria followed by dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Day 06: Ghangaria – Govind Ghat – Rudraprayag (165 kms/5 hrs)
After breakfast the next day, trek downhill towards Govind Ghat. You will be driven to Joshimath from there on. On arrival, you will be served with dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 07: Rudraprayag – Dehradun Airport (130 kms/10 hrs) – Mumbai
The last day of the trek will end with a breakfast followed by a drive to Dehradun Airport. Catch a flight for Mumbai at 14:25 hrs and will arrive by 19:35 hrs.
