After the successful first edition of Bharat Parv in 2016, the festival is likely to be back (hopefully with a bang) in January 2017 in Delhi. Vinod Zutshi, Secretary, Ministry of Tourism informed that the festival will take place in Red Fort in Delhi between January 26 – 31.
In the second edition of the festival, stalls of different states of India will be set up to showcase country’s diversity and rich heritage. Food stalls and cultural performances will also be the part of the festival.
It is to be noted that last year in 2016, the first Bharat Parv was celebrated in the month of August in Rajpath Lawns, India Gate. It was a weeklong festival that exhibited diverse culture, cuisine and handicrafts of different Indian states.
