Jim Corbett and Rajaji National Park opened for Wildlife Aficionados

After a long closure of five months, the two highly visited parks of Uttarakhand- Corbett national Park and Rajaji National Park welcomed more than 5000 tourists from all across the world on Friday.
Owing to torrential rains, the zones of Corbett got closed three days before a flood came in Uttarakhand. Surrender Mehra director of Corbett National Park said that all the zones of Corbett that were damaged in the rainy season have been suitably renovated and rebuilt. Moreover, they are opened for all those who wish to scout the wildlife from a close distance.
He said over 3000 tourists made advance booking and started their excursions at 6 am. And maximum calls have been received by the authorities regarding the visits to the main zones of Corbett.
The chilla range at Rajaji National Park, well-known for Asiatic elephants, was also re-opened by a traveler in the existence of some officials, visitors and school children on Friday after 5 month closure. An official said that more than 2000 travelers paid a visit to the national park on Friday and indulged in various exciting activities which also resumed in the nine zones of the park.
