Jim Corbett National Park Reopens After Monsoon
The widely-famous Corbett National Park, which was closed for four months because of monsoon, reopened its gates for visitors on Wednesday. To sight tigers and other animals roaming freely in the park, wildlife enthusiasts are coming in good numbers since the park reopened this season.
Dr. Saket Badola, the Deputy Director of Corbett Tiger Reserve, said that only Bijrani zone has been reopened till now and the other zones will be opened on November 15. He added that the Bizrani Zone was closed due to rainy season. And now that the rains are gone, we have opened it again for tourists. The other night stay resorts including Dhikala will reopen from 15th November.
