To maintain the importance of the park, Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation has installed a soft adventure park in Garden of Five Senses at Said-ul-Ajaib Village near Saket. Their main aim is to bring the beautiful garden to life again with many visitors. The park was inaugurated by the Minister for Tourism, Art, Culture and Language Kapil Mishra, in presence of other officers of Government of Delhi.
With an area of 22 acres land, The Garden of Five Senses started its new venture with 21 activities for the visitors like Paint Ball, Burma Bridge, Running Bungee, Sumo Wrestling, Commando Net, Air Rifle Shooting, Archery to name a few. Under the expert supervision of 25 crew members of Wanderlust Adventures, another 8 more activities are said to be installed soon.
Garden of Five Senses is opened daily from 9 am to 6 pm with an entry charge of 30 rupees for adults and 10 for children. However, there will be a separate cost for the activities inside the park ranging from 100 to 120 rupees per head. The Soft Adventure activities will be in full swing for at least six months as a trial basis and it is a possibility for it to be a permanent feature if the interest rates from the public go higher.
