Agra’s Mehtab Bagh to be Made a Tourist Attraction

Mehtab Bagh in Agra is likely to convert into a tourist destination. According to reports, Mahesh Sharma, Union Tourism Minister declared that the Mehtab Bagh site will be developed as a place for recreational activities for tourists.

According to Sharma, this site has great potential to become a popular tourist attraction. Mehtab Bagh is situated opposite to the iconic Taj Mahal at the edge of River Yamuna. In his meeting with tourist industry leaders in Agra, Sharma stated that in order to promote tourism in this region, the cooperation of all segments is important. He further intimated that the Taj Corridor will also be cleaned up as soon as the Supreme Court gives its verdict. In this meeting, Sharma also released a DVD on Taj Mahal called Taj Mahal: A Monument of Love.
