AccorHotels, Europe’s largest hotel group, has reached its milestone of making 45 resorts, and hotels across India with the opening of the Hotel Formule1 in Nashik and Chennai. A French multinational hotel group, AccorHotels has an 8,000 room inventory across its ten brands, which include Fairmont, Sofitel, Pullman, Swissôtel, Grand Mercure, Novotel, Mercure, ibis, ibis Styles and Formule1. They marked their presence in India in 2016 with the opening of the ibis Styles, Goa that has 197 rooms. And for 2017, they have a plan to make ten hotels bringing its network growth to over 55 properties.
AccorHotels growth strategy in India is led by its focus on the midscale segment with the Novotel brand and ibis. There are currently 28 hotels operating under the Novotel and Ibis brands across various key cities in India. Hotel Pullman in Aerocity; Hotel Novotel in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkatta, Goa, Bengaluru, and Visakhapatnam; Hotel Ibis in Nashik, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Pune, Jaipur, and Chennai are some of the prominent hotels of this landmark group in India.
