It is indeed true that accommodation options in Nagaland can be found till the three star category, however, none of these hotels lack warm hospitality, prompt services and comfortable rooms. Maximum number of hotels and inns can be found in the capital city of Kohima and the largest city of Nagaland, Dimapur. The two cities offer distinct options for a stay and spoil tourists with a wide range of accommodations in both three star and budget categories.
Apart from these two urban centres, a few good options of circuit houses, PGs, and private run guest houses are available in places like Phek, Zunheboto and Peren. Homestays are also slowly emerging in Nagaland. Many locals are coming forward and opening their traditional houses to tourists in order to make them understand the unique and interesting culture. Since tourism is on the rise in Nagaland, more and more hotels are to crop up in several regions of tourist interest in the state in the years to come.
