river Hooghly you may take a stroll to the Sharisha
Ramkrishna Mission Ashram. Usually tourists and pilgrims
throng the spot. Then there is the Kapil Muni Temple
at Sagar Island near the Diamond Harbor. The temple
is revered for its association with the mythological
descent of the Ganges from the heavens into the sea.
